Enable Recruitment is a B Corp Certified recruitment agency in Bristol which builds sales, finance, HR, operations, legal, insurance, wealth management and healthcare teams.
In order to ensure they properly represent the city they are based in, Enable have been developing a recruitment and training model to encourage people from marginalised communities to join the sector.
The first step with this was to understand how to support these communities, especially in Bristol, and Enable wanted the team to be involved in choosing which charity to support. This support will consist of a donation of 1% of profit each year, and they are committed to increasing this percentage, as well as adding more charities, especially those in the Bristol area, along the way.
As an organisation supporting young people from ethnically diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds to realise their professional ambitions, Babbasa fitted perfectly into this vision, working to provide training, mentorship, and career opportunities which empower the next generation of talent.

The partnership was kicked off by a fireside chat, where Matt Rogers, Caroline Amran and Urfan Ali from Babbasa presented to the Enable team about the work we do to help level the playing field in Bristol for underrepresented young people, and why this is needed.
Babbasa Trailblazer, Kayjay Mcdonald-Ferguson, joined us to tell his story, really bringing to life the support we provide to young people like himself.
