Community Growth & Business Development Assistant (10 hours per week)

We’re looking for someone to join the founding team at WILDHeart and help more brilliant creatives discover what we’re building.
This isn’t a job where you’ll spend all day sat behind a desk.
You’ll be chatting to people, creating energy online, welcoming new faces into the space, sharing what we’re up to and helping connect the right people with the right opportunities.
Think of yourself as the person who gets everyone excited about WILDHeart.
Who are WILDHeart?
We’re an independent creative workspace in the heart of Stokes Croft, Bristol.
We’re building something that feels a little bit like Soho House… just with a lot less ego and a lot more creativity.
Our members are designers, photographers, musicians, filmmakers, marketers, artists, founders, coaches and creative freelancers who believe that being around great people helps them do their best work.
We’re creating the sort of place where ideas get shared, collaborations happen naturally and everyone wants to see one another succeed.
What you’ll be doing
Every week will be a little different, but you’ll get involved with things like:
- Creating fun Instagram Stories and social content
- Sharing what’s happening inside WILDHeart
- Welcoming visitors and helping with studio tours
- Talking to creatives online through Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Building relationships with local businesses and creative communities
- Helping promote workshops, networking events and memberships
- Supporting events happening in the studio
- Keeping conversations moving with potential members
- Spotting opportunities and bringing great people into the room
You’ll receive full training and we’ll show you exactly how we do outreach, sales and community building.
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need years of experience.
You do need curiosity, confidence and a willingness to learn.
You might already:
- enjoy creating content
- spend far too much time on Instagram
- love meeting new people
- naturally make connections between people
- be organised enough to keep conversations moving
- enjoy working in creative environments
- want experience that actually means something on your CV.
We’re particularly keen to hear from young people from communities that are underrepresented within the creative industries.

The details
- 10 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Based at WILDHeart in Stokes Croft
- Full training provided
- Laptop, phone and everything you need supplied while you’re in the studio
- Plenty of opportunities to grow as WILDHeart grows
This is a chance to build real experience inside a growing creative business while helping shape the community from the ground up.
This is an unpaid internship. Successful applicants will be a part of the team for an initial 2 months, work hours are 9 – 5 Monday to Friday, with flexibility of exact times.
