Our Media is part of the Immediate Media group, named one of the Best Places to Work in the UK 2022. Cycling Plus is the UK’s best-selling road cycling magazine. The magazine team produces 13 editions a year, alongside a digital edition and various supplements.  Our Media are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Junior Designer to join their dynamic team. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Art Editor with the design, layout and sending the magazine to print Work closely and communicate effectively with the Art Editor, Editor and editorial team to ensure editorial style is maintained and all deadlines are met  
  • Help to create imaginative, engaging layouts for the magazine using typography and photography  
  • Assist in planning cycling photoshoots in the studio and outdoors
  • Work such as associated supplements, advertorials, subscription pages, inserts, promotions and internal/external media;  
  • Undertake general picture research and Adobe Photoshop work;  
  • Create digital content for Cycling Plus’s website cyclingplus.com and social media, as well as monthly web banners and assets.  


Skills You Should Have:

  • Competent in Adobe Creative suite, in particular Indesign and Photoshop and be familiar with Apple hardware;   
  • Accuracy, quality and consistency of work and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise work according to tight deadlines
  • Creative ability and can take initiative  
  • Good communication skills and be a team player 
  • Interest in the world of cycling and experience of riding would be an advantage
