About the role
This is a brand new role, which supports Global Bay at an exciting time of growth. We have recently undergone a strategic marketing review, and created a strategy – which is where we need you! This role will work closely with our Marketing Consultant to deliver on objectives. The role encompasses key digital marketing activities such as social media and email, as well as getting involved with events, PR and other channels.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career, who would like to take some ownership of their work, but have the support of a team. You will learn how to create integrated campaigns, assess sales and generation of leads, do reporting and analytics, as well as allow your creativity to flourish by creating content and campaigns.
This is a support role, so while you will be responsible for a lot of the “doing” you will have the opportunity to help out with strategy, learn new marketing tools, reporting, and coming up with ideas.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Editing and copywriting (emails, blogs, other content where needed)
- Basic graphic design (using Canva or similar)
- Completing reports for social media and email campaigns
- Manage the social media channels
- Support with the sales and lead generation process
- Keeping an eye on trends in target market
- Supporting with events and PR
- AOB admin support as required

Job Details:
- Role: Marketing Coordinator
- Salary: £150 day rate, equivalent to £20 an hour
- Contract: Freelance
- Hours: 1.5 days a week (with potential to increase hours)
