Overview of the Role 

As a Zero Carbon Living Advisor, your role is to provide consistently outstanding service to OVO’s customers across the entire customer lifecycle. You serve to solve, ensuring customer’s needs are met whilst informing and educating them on OVO’s Plan Zero mission and decarbonisation of the home. Whilst you’ll spend a lot of time speaking directly with OVO customers via phone, this role also provides opportunities to work on email, web chat, case work and continuous improvement activity so there is some flexibility.

Key Responsibilities Include:

● Engaging with OVO’s customers, communicating with passion across phone, email and web chat contacts
● Quickly understand the root cause of customer contact and taking ownership for solving queries the first time they call
● Coaching your teammates (OVO call these your squad mates!) in areas where you have a deeper level of knowledge or skill (e.g. help answer a customer query in the moment
● Prepare, attend and actively contribute at meetings as appropriate (e.g. daily squad stand-ups)
● Identify and implement continuous improvement efforts in both squad ways of working and customer experience

Qualities you should have:

  • Quick learner with a can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills
  • Multitasker with the ability to deliver great customer service over the phone
  • Team player who supports the entire squad to succeed
  • Can take initiative to manage your day

Job Details:

  • Role: Zero Carbon Living Advisor
  • Salary: £21,878 per annum
  • Contract: Permanent, with a 6 month probationary period
  • Hours: Full-time, 37 hours
  • Annual Leave: 26 days plus bank holidays 
  • Location: Bristol City Centre
