We’re pleased to introduce Babbasa’s 2025 Impact Report, which you can read here.
Imagine an inner city young person in Bristol, full of potential but unsure where to start. At Babbasa, we meet them at that point – offering guidance, support, and connections that turn ambition into opportunity.
Since 2010, Babbasa has helped over 4,500 talented young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds navigate the path to success.
This journey hasn’t always been easy. The past year saw the organisation undergo a necessary restructure., but we adapted, learned, and continued to support 241 young people to move forward. Today, we are stronger, clearer, and ready for what comes next.
To our young people, employees, partners, and funders: Thank you. Talent should never be limited by background – and with your support, it never will be.
Our achievements also wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our Equal Opportunity Ambassadors (EOAs), who volunteer their time and expertise to help create a fairer and more inclusive Bristol. You can find out more about becoming an EOA here.
Whilst we celebrate our achievements, we must also acknowledge that inequality continues to widen, and right now nearly 1 million 16-24 year olds are not working or in education.
This is why our 2026 strategy is simple and bold: one integrated youth programme, a clear journey – from curiosity to progression – supported by a hub that connects young people to opportunities, networks, and employers.
The first cohort begin this new programme later this month, and we’re excited to see them progress.
Thank you all for your continued support.
