Based in the heart of Bristol’s natural history film-making community, with access to leading wildlife camera operators and producers, the team at Offspring has a reputation for innovation. Their series combine spectacular visuals with fresh storytelling to create vivid, characterful animal dramas with a family twist.

Set up in 2014 by Emmy-winning Executive Producer, Alex Williamson, Offspring has delivered a range of critically acclaimed landmark series and documentary singles for Apple TV+, BBC, Sky TV and many other partners in the US, UK and international markets

Is this work experience for you?

Offspring Films would love to hear from you if you’d like to get into Natural History television production.  You might want to get into editing, researching, production management or camera assisting.  We’ll make sure you get a good overview of the roles available to you in the industry.

You’ll need to be passionate about making television and have a real enthusiasm for Natural History television.


  • Salary: Unpaid work experience with reasonable expenses covered (e.g. bus travel)
  • Time Commitment: One week, October 24th-28th
  • Hours: 10:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday
  • Location: Offspring Films, Bristol City Centre
