Student industry experience opportunities with Amschela
On Saturday 26 September 2026, we will present Amschela x Fashion Britain Bristol: Chapter One — a live fashion and creative showcase bringing together fashion, film, photography, media and Bristol’s wider creative community.
Importantly, representatives from the British Fashion Council will be in attendance, and the event will be livestreamed to the London Fashion Week platform, giving participating students exposure to a professional fashion environment with national and international reach.
As part of the event, we would love to open a number of student industry experience opportunities to university and college students across Bristol and the surrounding area.
We are particularly interested in students studying or developing experience in:
- Fashion and styling
- Fashion communication
- Photography and videography
- Film and content production
- Events and production
- Marketing, PR and social media
- Hair and make-up
- Backstage and runway support
Students will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a major live fashion event, work alongside Amschela and our professional creative partners, build material and experience for their portfolios and CVs, and gain valuable insight into the production of an industry-facing fashion showcase.
Crucially, the day will also provide opportunities for students to meet, observe and network with professionals operating across the fashion and creative industries at the highest level — creating connections and insight that can be difficult to access within a purely academic environment.
Interested students can apply by going directly to the website and filling out the link there.
Supporting emerging talent is an important part of Amschela’s work. We have previously supported students through mentoring, work placements and volunteering opportunities, and we want Fashion Britain Bristol to create another meaningful bridge between education and the professional creative industries.
