Babbasa Connect events

Ways you can support:

• Get your opportunities in front of ambitious young people
• Hear their stories and discover the skills they’ve developed

You should attend if:

• You or your employer have an opportunity suitable for an entry level young person, such as a paid role, an internship or work experience.
• You are interested in mentoring a young person, and would like to meet the talented young people who have completed Babbasa’s Launch Academy programme.

Agenda:

1. Welcome & Setting the Scene
2. Launch Academy – Young People’s Showcase
3. Employers introduce their organisation and available opportunities
4. Speed Networking – Connecting Young People & Employers
5. Close, Reflections & Next Steps

Key message for employers and professionals

Come prepared, focus on connection and be open to potential. Young people may not have all the experience required for an opportunity yet.

The event is an opportunity to understand their interests and aspirations, identify transferable skills and explore how you might support their next step.
