Would your organisation benefit from hearing the views of underrepresented young people?
Babbasa works with over 300 young people (aged 16-30) each year from ethnic minority and low income households. Their insights could help your organisation better understand what Gen Z are looking for from employers, and how you can better attract them to join your organisation.
One of the clients we have previously worked with in this way is Avon Fire & Rescue Service, who were looking for insight from young people into how they market their firefighter and office-based roles.
Louisa Roger, Cultural Change Implementation Lead at Avon Fire & Rescue Service, said: “Collaborating with Babbasa has given us valuable, first-hand insight into the lived experiences of young people in the workplace. Through several focus groups over the years, we’ve gathered perspectives that have directly shaped our recruitment campaign and helped us build a future-ready culture. The young people we engage with were confident, thoughtful, and eager to share their views.”
Feedback from the young people who took part included:
“It was great being able to speak one-to-one with an employer who cares about the voices and opinions of young people”.
“The workplace culture is really important for us as we are the young ones having to join an already connected network and team, so it was nice to have a big company wanting to know more about young people and our work place experiences”.
