The OurCity2030 Pathway into Built Environment, in partnership with AtkinsRéalis, Arcadis, Arup and Mott MacDonald aims to address the issue of underrepresentation within the Built Environment sector.

It also provides social value evidence for bids around tackling economic inequality, providing equal opportunity, and improving community integration.

The Pathway aims to bring together a cluster of organisations within the sector to work together on:

  • Reducing barriers of entry for those from local ethnic minority and low-income communities
  • Enabling ethnic minority candidates from the local community to progress into career-oriented and secured salary roles.
  • Empowering the Built Environment sector to lead on diversity, equal opportunity and inclusion in the workplace

Following the launch event at We The Curious on 16th July 2024, we are now taking expressions of interest for being part of this Pathway.

Confirmed organisations already taking part include:

  • AtkinsRéalis
  • Arup
  • Arcadis
  • Mott MacDonald
